Only Santa Rosa County residents may use the sites. Bring a valid ID or other proof of residency. There is no charge for residents.

The sites accept vegetative storm debris, such as tree limbs, branches, leaves and other yard debris. They do not accept:

  • Appliances
  • Debris in bags

Follow posted signs and directions from site staff. Keep vegetative debris separate from other storm-related waste.

How the drop-off sites fit with curbside pickup and the landfill

The county’s curbside debris collection on publicly owned roads began Wednesday, Oct. 14. Residents can keep using that service, or they can haul vegetative debris to the Central Landfill in Milton or to one of the new drop-off sites.

Springhill Road in Milton is closed to through traffic

Springhill Road in Milton, between Munson Highway and Highway 87 North, is closed to through traffic for repairs to downed power lines, according to the county. The closure lasts until further notice. Residents can still reach their homes.
