Why random order

Listed in random order. We don't rank local businesses: every listing gets the same chance to be seen. Spotlight and Featured spots are paid and labeled Sponsored.

The order changes every time the page loads, so no free listing is buried at the bottom. Businesses can't pay to move up the free list; they can only buy a labeled spot above it.

Built for AI search

We publish this directory in formats Google and AI assistants like ChatGPT read: every listing carries structured business data, and a verified, complete listing gives AI search accurate facts about you.

People now ask AI assistants things like "who fixes AC near me?". They answer by reading trusted local sites. A verified, complete listing on Emerald Coast Dispatch gives them accurate facts about your business. We can't control what they recommend.

Questions

Do you guarantee calls or a search ranking?: No. We put your business first on your service page and show you how many people view and call it. We do not promise a number of visits, calls or a ranking on Google or in AI assistants.
Can I cancel?: Yes. If you are not happy in the first 14 days, write to us and we refund you in full. There is no auto-renewal: when the year ends, your listing goes back to free and keeps all its information.
What is Founding pricing?: The first 20 businesses on Emerald Coast Dispatch pay about half price for their first 12 months. After that, the regular price applies if you renew.
Why can't law firms buy a spot?: Paid placements for legal services are paused while we review state bar advertising rules. Lawyers can still claim their listing for free.
How do I pay?: After you choose a plan we hold your spot for 72 hours and email you a secure payment link (card or bank transfer). Your listing goes live the same business day we receive it.
Can I pay to move up the free list?: No. The free list is always in random order. Paid spots are a separate, labeled block above it.
