Walton County has posted a construction traffic advisory, dated Oct. 23, 2026, for state roads in Walton and Okaloosa counties. Work is weather dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled.
- U.S. 90 at Bonita Drive, Walton County: intermittent lane closures Monday, Oct. 26, through Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., for turn lane operations.
- Brooks Bridge replacement project, Okaloosa County: nighttime work Sunday, Oct. 25, through Thursday, Oct. 29, from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Crews will pave U.S. 98 between Florida Place SE and Perry Avenue in downtown Fort Walton Beach, with intermittent lane closures and temporary on-street parking restrictions.
