Pensacola-area home sales rise in September while pending sales drop

Home sales in the Pensacola area rose in September 2026, while the number of pending sales fell sharply, according to the Pensacola Association of REALTORS (PAR) market report for September 2026.
The PAR Market Snapshot lists 843 total sales in September 2026. That is up 6.1% from August 2026 and up 5.7% from September 2025, when there were 797 sales, according to the report. Combined sales for 2026 to date total 7,398, a 4.7% increase over the same period in 2025.
Pending sales, meaning homes under contract that have not yet closed, totaled 235 in September 2026. That is down 27.6% from 325 in August 2026 and down 8.9% from 258 in September 2025, according to the report.
New residential listings rose 2.7% from September 2025, to 938. New condo listings fell 19% over the same period, to 69 from 86, according to the report.
