Drivers in Walton and Okaloosa counties will encounter construction lane closures on state roads this week, according to a traffic advisory Walton County posted Nov. 6, 2026.
Walton County
- U.S. 90 at Bonita Drive: turn lane operations, intermittent lane closures Monday, Nov. 9 through Friday, Nov. 13, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- U.S. 331 over Lafayette Creek: routine bridge maintenance, intermittent northbound lane closures north of S.R. 20 on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Brooks Bridge Replacement Project: intermittent lane closures on U.S. 98 from Ferry Road to Pier Road, and on Santa Rosa Boulevard from east of Amberjack Drive to Ross Marler Park, Sunday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 12, 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
- S.R. 85 resurfacing, U.S. 98 to Richbourg Avenue: intermittent lane closures Sunday, Nov. 8 through Thursday, Nov. 12, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
