Ate somewhere good?
Tell other readers. We publish short reader reports after an editor reviews them, always apart from the state's inspection data and never with your address.
- Tell us how it was: a dish, the wait, the view.
- Report a change: a place that closed, opened or moved.
- See something wrong in a record? We check it against the state's report.
Questions
What does "Met inspection standards" mean?
It is how Florida DBPR groups an inspection where sanitary and safety conditions did not warrant a follow-up visit ("Inspection Completed - No Further Action"), or a return visit that found earlier violations corrected ("Call Back - Complied").
What does "Warning issued" mean?
Florida DBPR says sanitary and/or safety conditions require the inspector to return in the near future. It is a follow-up, not a closure: the place can stay open while it fixes the violations.
When does the state close a restaurant?
An "Emergency order recommended" result means the inspector found conditions that endanger the health and safety of the public, requiring immediate closure until violations are corrected. When a return visit finds them fixed, DBPR records "Emergency Order Callback Complied" and the place can reopen.
What are high priority, intermediate and basic violations?
They are the three levels Florida inspectors use, from the most serious for food safety (high priority) to basic. We show the count of each from the state record; the full list of what was found is in the official report.
How do I see the full inspection report?
Search the business name or license number in Florida DBPR's license and inspection lookup. Each card on our pages shows the license number for that search.
Which counties are on this page?
Okaloosa, Walton, Santa Rosa and Bay counties: Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Crestview, Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach and 30A, DeFuniak Springs, Navarre, Milton, Pace, Panama City and Panama City Beach.
Why is a restaurant missing?
We list every food service place that Florida DBPR inspected since July 1, the start of the state's fiscal year. A place that has not had an inspection since then, or that is licensed by another agency (like some school or grocery kitchens), does not appear yet.
