The City of Destin announced on Nov. 6, 2026 that it is launching a paid parking program, according to a City alert published that day.
The alert, titled “Paid Parking Program,” says that “the City is launching a new, convenient paid parking programming.”
The alert does not say which streets, lots or zones the program covers. It also does not give rates, hours, payment methods, exemptions for residents, or a start date.
Because no start date is published, this story does not report that the program is in effect. The alert also does not say whether the Destin City Council approved the program by ordinance or contract.
Drivers who park in Destin should watch the City’s website for the full details of the program.
